寒假英语周记
Title: My Winter Break English Diary
Week 1:
The winter break has finally arrived, and I’m eager to embrace the opportunity to enhance my English skills. This week, I started by revisiting some basic grammar rules and practicing my pronunciation. I also joined an online English speaking group, where I could engage in conversations with native speakers. It was challenging at first, but I’m gradually getting more comfortable.
Week 2:
I spent this week reading English novels and watching movies with subtitles. It’s been a great way to immerse myself in the language and pick up new vocabulary. I also started writing short stories in English, which has been both fun and challenging. The feedback I received from my peers has been encouraging.
Week 3:
This week, I focused on listening skills. I listened to English podcasts and news broadcasts, trying to understand the flow of conversation and picking up on different accents. Additionally, I began preparing for an English speaking competition that will take place next week. The practice sessions have been intense but rewarding.
Week 4:
The highlight of this week was the English speaking competition. Although I was nervous at first, I managed to present my thoughts fluently and confidently. The experience was invaluable, and I received valuable feedback from the judges. To conclude my winter break, I plan to continue practicing English regularly and setting new goals for the coming semester.
Overall, this winter break has been incredibly productive for my English learning journey. I’ve made significant progress in all areas of language proficiency, and I’m excited to continue improving in the future.
